BIOGRAPHY

Amanda Brammall DJs around various L.A. venues (Moonshadows, Backstage, The Good Hurt, under the pseudonym dj beatnik) and occasionally guest DJs on The Dark Room on KPFK 90.7 FM. She has also music supervised on such films as The River Why (with Amber Heard and William Hurt) , The Dog Problem (Giovanni Ribisi and Mena Suvari), One California Day (documentary) and The Black Pearl. Amanda is influenced by many styles of music though her favorites are hip hop, funk, electro, 80's and house. In 2006, she joined forces with Jed Smith to form the electronica duo THE SHOCKERS. Their debut album Death Angeles was released by Ingrooves on October 31, 2007.
