i'am a simple girl with a simple plan. to feel music, make music and love music in whichever way it influences me. yesterday, today and tomorrow i will play soulful, funky, vibrant spanky basslines via house music. next month i may be inclined to changing it around completely and making a round about to another genre.
Feeling what I am doing and enjoying it so in that moment I will only be 110% fluid with it is my commitment. I play here in SF with a collective of friends, the Housewives (www.myspace.com/soulfulhousewives) on occasion with our fellow Soulmates, the Housemen. I am interested in the pursuit of music production far more than being a DJ. I am currently exploring and expanding my mixing with every passing day, and I dont believe I will ever fully give it up, however the clear line ahead of me is refining and working out new melodies of my own. I would love the opportunity to meet and work with, learn and teach any other women who are musically propelled and welcome any invitations. there is no level that discourages me, advanced, or beginner. I'm willing to learn and teach, whatever I may have to offer, and accept whatever you bring to the table.
i'm also a writer and previously an editor for a small music rag spinoff of Keyboard. I havtributed to remix, keyboard, MC2 and other online hosts. I'm currently seeking any freelance work, including bio's or other press write-ups.
