BIOGRAPHY

Aurei (pronounced "Or-Ray"); A 28 year old driven and inspired female musician and artist from Portland, Oregon. Poppin', Droppin', and Lockin' down beats for 10 years! Architect of Acid Muse Art Gallery and Music Productions, and in affiliation with Endless Nights Productions, Community, Shejay.net & Jedeye Sound LLC.

Having had Residencies at some of Portland Oregon's top Night Clubs. Like; Ohm, Viper Room, Level, Barracuda, Pala, McFadden's and more......

Aurei is one of the most versatile DJ’s in the Northwest. Primarily focused on Tech House/Electro, Breakbeats and Drum n Bass. But also dabbling in Progressive Breaks/House, Dubstep, Deep House, Psy, and Trip Hop (booked to genre, and has the ability to play any Electronic Music genre requested by promoter).

She’s gained worldwide recognition for her progressive breakbeat remix of Rocktronik’s “Things You Do” on PeakHourMusic.com, and her Electro Remix of "Such A Feeling" on PeakHourMusic.com, as well as her progressive breakbeat remix of Bitstream Dreams “Khronoa” on BitstreamDream.com. And is currently collaborating with Dubstep artist "Mortal" on remixes of Samarah, Costanza, Dahlia and more. Together Mortal and Aurei have created "Digitized". A blunt and dark yet danceable twist on Tech House, Mid-Tempo Breakbeats and Dubstep. She has also collaborated with fellow Drum n' Bass producer "Codename", on remixes of her original Drum n' Bass tracks "Mint Julip" and "Metsuki".

She will be releasing her first full length original Tech House/Progressive Album in late 2008/early 2009 and is always in the market to collaborate on electronic music compositions and remix sessions with fellow producers. A West Coast Rocker, packin' heavy, quality beats, and she never leaves the dance floor dry!
