Angie has lived in Florida all her life, and witnessed many of the turning events in the underground electronica scene over the past few years. Only when the music started to die in her hometown did she decide to get some turntables of her own. "I've been consumed by this music since I first heard it," she says, "I just had to learn to play it myself for others to enjoy."
After only spinning for two years, Angie is a monthly resident in Jacksonville, hosting the all female dj night, Chicks with Decks. She is also picking up steam by playing at other parties around the city. Her combination of driving beats and high energy melodies is representative of the trance dj. "I find I can express myself the most by playing trance."
Studying print journalism and photography at the University of North Florida, Angie aims to work for a music magazine. "Taking pictures and writing is where it's at! It's such an honor to report to the world the great happenings of our music scene."
