Mona Holmes – aka Mona Jonz – has been an fascinating player in the music world since 1998. Co-founder of Shejay, she's a foremost expert on women in music, namely female DJs, vocalists and producers. Shejay is a formidable presence in the music industry, providing much needed focus on not only women, but independent artists as well.
Providing music to film, television and multimedia is another one of her ventures...and is currently providing musical guidance for a documentary and the feature film, "The Green Goddess."
Also a music journalist, Mona covers all types of music, reviews and trends throughout the industry. A former radio program producer, Mona has been a regular contributor to other publications such as www.hotinhollywood.tv, with her signature column, "Hot Mix."
In 2006, she began to develop the booking end of the business, providing international promoters, club owners and party organizers with a source of female talent.
Mona has also started sizzling audiences with her voice and unique radio show, "B-sides." Already a favorite weekly podcast, she has created a unique concept that is already building a significant fan base.
