Brostep, the new face of Dubstep. It fills the airwaves of the mainstream media. Those upset by this should turn their attention to Chestplate's recent release, because oh dear will it slap you round the face and remind you of what Dubstep's really all about.

Coventry boy, Sleeper, one half of dark, sub-heavy Dubstep duo Sleeper & District, has released his Zombies/Scanners EP and, upsettingly for vinyl lovers, it's got an extra gift track on digital release only, Narrow. Each track is in no way distant from any of Sleeper's previous releases, all filled souly with minimalist drum rhythms, echoed synths and a whole lot of sub bass. Join the march of the Zombies, Scan the room for any life outside of the minimal drone and walk the Narrow path of an EP that will leave you in that sweet, sweet, original Dubstep haze. It's all about the bass. It's all about the Sleeper.
